WHY YOU FEEL UNINSPIRED

Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by my blog once again . For those who already follow me perhaps you have  noticed that I have not posted a blog in a couple of days. The reason being is that I have been feeling uninspired and secondly,  I have been dead busy. However , during this period I have noticed quite a lot of things , which have inspired me a bit. Ridicolous as it may sound it is absolutely true. And the second thing I noticed is that I am always going to be busy so I need to work around my busy schedule or else I will end up doing nothing,  using my life responsibilities as an excuse.  This feeling of being uninspired can make you wake up in the morning and feel like not looking forward to do  anything . So I have come up with at least five ways that  can help you, gain back your power through inspiration.

You cannot wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club-

  1. ENVIRONMENT

Mind the environment you are in. If the environment is draining you , you will never feel better but drained yourself. Find the right place for you it may be your bedroom, your friends home , family just find that place , that gives you the feeling of wanting to do more in life.

2. GET SOCIAL

Getting social is one of the best tips I can really recommend you to try for sure. It will 100% change your mind set and help you gain a bit of inspiration. But remember when I say get social I do not mean that go on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. I mean get out of the house and meet  friends, friends who will always ask you “what are your plans for the future? where do you see yourself by the end of this year? not friends who just want to go out and get  drunk and give you a hard time. So go out socialise a bit you might get inspired,  by that sort of company.

3. WATCH STORIES THAT MOTIVATE YOU

People every single day are getting active for different reasons , they have stories that include mental health, or a loss of a family member really anything and  these stories  can be found anywhere on social media.  watching such stories can help you a lot . Check out the BBC  website to watch some of the most inspiration stories of real day to day people.

DO NOT OVER THINK YOUR LIFE LIVE IT AND ALL WILL BE WELL

4.ENRICH YOURSELF

All ideas start with a tiny little seed in a person mind. Feed your mind with the  right  ingredients,  that will cultivate the right set of mind to do stuff. Try reading or learning something new every single day and see what happens.

5. LOOK FOR INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC

Omg nothing works with out music for me, bad music will get me mad like seriously. I remember when I was working in a Drug store shop towards christmas they started playing christmas music 4 months towards Christmas,  I mean September as early as that. To make matters worse it was the same player every day I was getting sick and tired of this, even with the countless times, I asked them to change it and they said its the company’s policy to play this type of music. When the manger said this to me I said ” well I guess I  make a new policy to myself by leaving this company based on their policy ” so I left. Trust me it felt so good and when  I got home I played the best music in the world. So it may sound lame that I left a job because of its music but this helped me a lot. so please get the right mood and the right music and have fun.

Do not stress a lot if you still do not find inspiration. Time will tell and when you get it you will be the happiest person ever.

WHY MY DAY SUCKS

We all have horrible days when things are not going well as expected and we tend to capitalise on that one wrong thing to determine our day ahead. Well I am here to tell you that horrible days are decisions and egos that drive us to act in such a way or vice versa.

Down below I am going to list down, how you can get over this horrible day issue.

REFLECTION

First of all reflect on what exactly made you get mad or changed that mood of yours and then ask yourself if it worth ruining your day. By doing this you will for sure feel better.

MEDITATION

Clearing our minds is something that is hard to do, but if we get into the habit we can for sure do it. Try to meditate for at least 10 minutes to calm your  mind and put your restlessness at ease.

DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE THE MOST

For me it would be listening to music to sort of detract me from that horrible thought. It could be reading a book or dancing do what ever makes you smile.

HAVE A RELAXING BATH

Try to take a bath put some candles on and relax play some relaxing music you can find this on you tube and zone out.

Okay those are the ways i think you can get over horrible , horrible days cannot be avoided but we can try to make sure they don’t ruin us . I am now getting into a habit of writing short clear blogs please let me know if you think this is a good idea.

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY/ HOW TO; MANAGE YOUR BAD MOOD

HOW TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU GET ANGRY

Okay it  is Monday morning you have got up today feeling like crap and wondering why the heck do we have Mondays. The most unlucky day  Monday after one of the most loved days Sunday., so it’s not a surprise  that it is everyone’s worst day . Sunday gives you relaxation and freedom while Monday gives you work to do. I want you to start Imaging a Monday like any other day and stop thinking its the worst day remember.

YOU ARE YOUR OWN  THOUGHTS

Anyway I just wanted to give you a heads start before you read this and have some positivity . Lets get to the reason why you decide to read this.

WHY I THINK YOU SHOULD  NOT GET MAD AT EVERYTHING

The other day I went to a chicken shop and ordered chicken nuggets and fries unhealthy yes I know, but it was the only bad food I ate the whole week so I deserved some nuggets. So i placed my order and paid but, they forgot to put my order through and  I was waiting for 30 minutes just for chicken in a chicken shop. I was thinking to myself should I get mad and start complaining, but then I looked at the staff,  and how intense they were trying to get my order out as spoon as possible but they cannot fasten up the pan to fry my chicken. Then  and said to myself , Lucy, you have been a waitress before and you know how it’s like. So I  applied some understanding took some breaths and smiled. 10 minutes later my food was ready to go with an apology which i replied to saying THAT’S FINE I UNDERSTAND. I felt  good after this in my mind, spirit and I felt a sense of ease. Our mind’s  can play tricks on us basing on our past experiences  and egos but we have the power to change that.

So this morning I am coming to you saying try yo eliminate the things that tend to get you mad   by thinking of the positive. Do not let one single situation destroy your mood.

REMEMBER YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK EAT OR SAY

Today being a Monday I want you to set a challenge to your self and say I am better than this and try to get angry less by getting the positive thoughts. Lets do this challenge together I will do the same and check in a week later.

PLANNING YOUR WEEKEND

MAKE YOUR WEKEED WORTH THE HYPE

So let me start by saying I am one of the people that really does not gets weekend’s off, because I work on a shift basis and weekends I am required to work as well. But when I get a weekend off I do for sure make sure I try to plan it, thats if  I do not get a bad cold or my monthly woman issue.

So today is Friday you are hoping to have a good weekend but you are unsure what exactly to do, well  I am going to tell you  how you can have a fabulous weekend.

Even though you are going to work you can make your working weekend a fun one .

So lets begin.

  1. WEEKEND LIST

Okay yeah I am talking about a list again , but this is the most important bit to plan your weekend.  List the things that  you really want to accomplish over your weekend. The things that you will not want to go over to the next week for example for me I would like to

a) Make any pending important phone calls

b) Organise all my work for my university

c) Make sure I am up to date with all my course work

d) Meet up friends that are free this time, I am going out to Brighton with a couple of friends.

And so much more things like this, I would not like them to  move over to the next week so make a list of the things you have to do .

2. Have a relaxing period

As you plan your weekend make sure you include 30 minutes in your schedule have a relaxing bath a detox session. This is going to help you wash off all the bad energy within you , that you have had through the whole week . This will help you feel fresh for the next week.

3. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Make sure you finish off the pending work that you have to do within the week, if you still have stuff unfinished , you must finish them by the end of the weekend.

4. EXERCISE

Do not forget to exercise one thing that will make your weekend a good one is working out do something, run , mediate, yoga and anything that makes your body move a bit. Me I am going trying so hard to make sure I work out everyday. I do try to share my work out stories on my Instagram which is LUCY A you can go check it out so you can see how I tend to work out.

5. RELAX DONOT OVER PLAN

Make it a point to relax as much as you can  and and live it to the fullest. Do not over schedule your weekend and be free.

Today is a Friday and tomorrow the weekend will start  so please try to enjoy it go out with friends have fun and  care less.

HOW TO: FEEL GOOD EVERY MORNING

FEEL GOOD EACH TIME YOU WAKR UP

HELLO my lovelies, One of the feelings I hate the most is waking up early in the morning and feeling like i did not rest  at all, in simple terms feeling like shit.  Their could be a number of reasons some of which may be medical while the others may just be associated with just simply our own habits . I have some of the things  I do that make me feel better each time I wake up. Well lets be honest some days I still wake up feeling down, but I  make it feel better by doing some exercise. Okay lets get down to the most important part. Some of these are similar to my previous post about, 6 Healthy habits if you are not following them then please try these .

I am making a challenge which is try one or two of these ideas, the challenge will be called TheLULUMORNINGCHALLENGE.

  1. READING

Yes you are all tired of me taking about reading but imagine, if you got into a habit of reading before bed you will  feel so much better in the morning when you wake up swap this for your social media and tell me how you  will feel the next morning.

2. PLAN YOUR MORNING

I have mentioned a couple of times on my blog, if you have not read it check  it out on my blog post on HOW TO START BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. The best part of your morning is the feeling of knowing what you are going to do the next day. Write down your plan for the next day in your dairy, the night before and plan out what you have to do. This will make your morning better ones.

3. WAKE UP EARLY EVERYDAY THE SAME TIME

Set your Alarm to wake you up each day at the same time. This will keep your mind and body on a daily  routine. Waking up the same time each day will help you sleep better at night  and a strong wakefulness. I personally set my alarm to wake up at 9:30 each day. Well the truth is that I have been trying and so far so good I will keep you updated if this is really helpful. But for sure I cannot complain.

4.DO SOME EXERCISE WHEN YOU WAKE UP

Early in the morning when you wake up , you have to try and do some exercise, at least make it a point to workout 4 times in a week. I love to do squats and front lunges they help me a lot , in times when I cannot do a full work out. But once I do some body movements it always makes me feel better for sure.

5. GET INTO A HABIT OF SAYING POSITIVE THINGS

When I  wake up in the morning I love to say positive things to myself and get into a positive feeling or sometimes I love to play slow music in the morning once I am up and running. So I would highly recommend you to try this.

6. DO NOT SLEEP ANGRY

When you are going to bed make sure you are not angry at anything , sleep in peace with a clear mind. Try to over come what ever you are feeling that is stressing you out and leave it behind before you go to sleep. This will give you a good night sleep and a good morning wake up.

so get yourself a good night sleep

HEALTHY HABITS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON

HELLO. Lovies ,Living  healthy is something that we all struggle with. We are so much consumed up with so much stuff that we forget the most important part of our lives is our health.

Personally I try as much as I can to live healthy,however, one or two times I do slip off and forget my target but to be honest with you, I have gone through so much in this year that now I  decided to do “me” and make my body mind and health a better place if  I am going to handle anything. These are some of the things I have done to keep healthy and make my days really the best and the most loveable. Please I  would like to say that I am not perfect at anything at all but I do try to make things a  routine, and then  suddenly they become part of me after a long time. I am positive that if you try these habits they will work for you and they make you a better person , please try them and let me know how you are scoring out of 100.

So lets begin

  1. AVOID THE PHONE

Yes hands down I have tried this method and  it has worked for me. Before bed try not to stay on your phone for a long time ( I am writing this blog at 23:00 hahah good way to start) , instead try to read something or listen to podcasts, these really help a lot because they keep your mind fresh and good to go. Staying on your phone is never going to make your mornings amazing ones.  Social media is so tempting but you have to try to fight it for sure. The other thing is that when you wake up in the morning avoid looking at the phone as your first things this pretty much will determine how your day goes. Occupy yourself with other things during the day, so that you can forget your phone otherwise look for a distraction.

2. READ BOOKS OR WATCH INSPIRATION VIDEOS

I do not know how many times I  have said  this on my blog &videos and I do not know how much i can stress this . Reading books and topics that are motivational are really a good healthy habit , diverting your mind to something else, can change your mind and how you may think about yourself. Reading is so much more important and useful, more than you can imagine, so if you want too feel better please try to read as much as much as you can  my favourite books are the motivational and inspirational ones.

3. EAT HEALTHY

One thing I am going to openly tell you is that eating healthy can be a bit pricey , but let me tell you  if you start eating healthy now, your future will be brighter do not think of how pricey it might be but rather what are the benefits in a long run. Always remember a health  mind in a  healthy body.  Trying to eat well is the most important thing and will save your health in general.

4. WORKOUT

The one things I am going to tell you is that you will never regret working out but will always regret not working out . Meditation, Yoga  and Exercise will save you and this healthy habit always personally makes me feel good. Each time I workout  my day feels so better, be it my week this habit will save you a lot . I do not want to make this blog long by telling you the benefits of working out, which you already know and have read several times. So please try at least once or twice in a week to make these baby steps towards it.

5.TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW

Learning something new is s great way to expand your knowledge, it can be learning to cook ,  learning a different language ,learning to drive , it could be anything just try to learn something new. I am trying to learn French as a new language , because I would like to know other languages, and I am trying to read about the Ego and understand the mind. So yeah learning something new makes your mind to move forward and help your self esteem. This is a good healthy habit, its like feeding your brain with direct food to grow.

6. APPRECIATE YOURSELF

First thing in the morning when you wake up is to look in the mirror, and say the most amazing things about yourself and live by them. As for me when I wake up in the morning, I usually say things like, today is going to be a great day, today I will accomplish lot of things or I say Lucy you have done well and you are going to do more.

So my lovies their you have it the most healthy habits that will help you a lot and make you a better person . I promise you if you try these habits you will be abetter on a day today basis

Believing in yourself is the only way you can reach your full potential;

Before we go any further lets make this clear,    I still struggle with belief on some occasions once in a while. This is often noticed when I feel I cannot do something and I am still in doubt with myself. So please as you read this just know I am a victim who is trying to get out of the situation and so far so good,

Just a little back ground why I am writing this, I hear and see a lot of people struggling with believing in themselves and I totally get this for sure. I grew up in Africa my whole childhood and teenage life, so it was difficult to really try and put myself out their, especially due to the fact that I went to a boarding school and we were more than 30, 000 students locked up in a fence, so you can imagine for sure.  I never believed in myself, that I could actually achieve anything, or be anyone but this changed when I decided to follow some quick steps and I started  reading more but this happened with me identifying what my set backs are Which are belief and Fear.

So in this blog, I am going to show you or tell you some of the  ways you have to start from in order to believe in yourself. Most Christians  reading this blog might have already practiced it and probably said it a million times ( I believe) but the question is “do you  believe in what you are saying or you  are just saying it for the sake of just saying It”.

Enough with the rambling lets start

  1.  SELF ACCEPTANCE

The very first things is to learn to accept yourself for who you are and what you are , how can you fully believe in something that you don’t accept. We cannot choose parts that we think  we like about ourselves and leave the rest, you must fully accept what you are, and if you don’t like that part then work on it but you must accept you.

This may be difficult in many ways because as children growing up we are slightly dedicated to what we think we are, by determining what we do and  conclusions are made. At some point in your life you probably  felt that this is not right and  true and  you feel you are something else or your true self is not what the society thinks of you.  For me till now no matter how many good things I try to do, I sometimes feel that people will not accept it because they have a self believe in themselves that ” this is who she is “. however,  I am here to tell you that, you have to try and understand who you are and what you  are then  accept it, no matter what society  says.

2. MAKE A LIST

Make a list of things you feel you  want to accomplish and do not leave out anything you must put down everything and believe, say it out loud that I believe I am going to be successful, I believe I am going to  be better.  And everyday cross the ones you have managed to accomplish and trust me it feels great.  In this list make sure to set some goals that you want to accomplish  see how much progress you are making.

3. BE AROUND UPLIFTING FRIENDS

The worst mistake you can ever make is trying to be around people who don’t believe in you and are constantly putting you down. Minimalize your contact with them, because  it may not be the right thing to get red of them  at the moment but,  limit what you say or do around them because you know they are critical people and this does not help if you are on  a journey or self belief.

4. READING, LERANING AND GROWING

You have to put yourself in a position of learning about yourself and understanding your limitations, as well as self awareness. Learn more about yourself by going beyond your limitations and doing things you thought you would never do . Try to read more of motivation books that will give you a heads start, for example, I am currently reading two books yes people, two books one is about the 9 to 5 if you are in the UK you know what  I mean by 9 to 5 and the other book  is about Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway. These books put a smile on my face, and constantly make me feel better and grow my mind as well. If you want me to give you full details on these books   please email me at thelucy.a57@gmail.com and I will for sure give you more details on these. Do some sort of self exploitation attend events, understand how the world is and how it works. If you have social medial follow the right people that give you more to learn than desire.

5. STOP COMPARING YOUSELF

This is something that everybody does for sure, but have you ever thought to yourself that, we are not all the  same in terms of personalities and who we are, so why do you think someone’s else’s success should be the same as yours. Be confident in yourself and What you have accomplished I always say every little success to anther step is a big win

STOP COMPARING AND FIND YOU

Stop comparing in terms of image, career, success relationships. yours is yours and not anybody else. You have the power to accomplish anything.

“YOU HAVE THE POWER TO BE ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT, BUT FIRST BELEIVE IN YOUR SELF AND STOP COMPARING”

“FRIENDS” IS IT THE RIGHT TERM

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FRIEND

The topic on friendship is one hot one, we are caught up in the drama, lies, decit and disappointment. However we are never taught how to choose the right friend we just go along with what the world has to offer. We end up in hate just because someone is not the right person for us in terms of friendship. I am  not saying I am perfect but I have learnt a lot due to the fact that,  half of my life  I studied in  boarding schools, so this  has helped me  know a little bit about friendship and people. “Friends” can be a tricky part in all aspects of life we don’t know when they will snap . However, I can tell you the signs to look out for when looking for a friend or you have a friend but you are still in doubt.

  1. OPPOSITE HABITS

When choosing a  friend look for habits opposite to yours . The worst thing that most people do is try to choose someone who is exactly just like you. This is  not a good thing because you will tend to clash all the time. Choose someone who is some-how the complete opposite of you in terms of habits. This will help you learn and understand the person more na this person will help you understand were you are going wrong.

2. THEIR ACTIONS

When you have a friend try as much as possible to watch their actions around you and  around other people. How they act and carry themselves around is a good way to determine this particular person. For example if you have a  friend who is dodgy around you, trying to hide a lot of stuff then ask yourself why is this person not being transparent with me. And if you try to talk too them about it and they seem not to care , then  back off and leave it will save you more than staying.

3. RESPECT

A person that does not respect their family elderly friends and people around them, do not expect them to respect you at all that will be an absolute joke. And like I always say  when you see signs like this just know that is a ticking bomb just run away fast.

4. BACK TALKERS

When you go to see a friend a and they start talking about someone else who they call “friend”  in their absence , then that is the worst sign for you and you should run fast . Because if they can talk about someone who they call friend I guarantee you they will do the same to you as well , because one they lack respect and two they  have no shame at all.

5. VALUES

Having similar values or the same values is one important thing because it helps the both of you to grow and  become better people. if you two have different values you will end top clashing on a lot of things which will cause a lot of bad blood and therefore, avoid someone with no values .

6. COMMON GOALS

When choosing a friend, first determine that this person has the same goal as you, not exactly the same but least something  to look out for in the future. Do not be afraid  to ask this person what their aims and aspirations for the future are, in order to see if this person is going to help you grow or be that one friend that always  putting you down.

7. EDUCATIVE

You have to be able to learn something from the person that is your “potential friend”. If at one point you feel like you are not learning anything from this person then you pack your bags and go. Life is a journey along the way we see so many things and we must learn from them  if we don’t, then that means it was not worth your time and learn from it and find what is better.

8. HAPPINESS

Someone  that is all the time bringing some sort of bad news to you all the time is someone to watch out for. I am not saying you should be able to share your sorrows together but the out come should be happiness. They should be able to share both  with you the good and the bad. If you feel your a problem solver in your friendship then consider being the solution giver which is “running away” faster the Usain Bolt..

9. TEST TRUST

Do not be afraid to test someones trust in your friendship, because at the end of the day this is the person you are going  to trust with your secrets and if you feel you cannot trust them,  then for sure do not be friends with them . Because your friend should be someone you are bale to trust.

10. NAGATIVITY

Their people in this world who only bridge negativity and bad lack I personally call them the angles of doom. All you see is  darkness  and each time your with them bad things happen. All they do is call you when something is wrong and start to feed you with that negative energy, but they never try to uplift you or give you positive energy at all. If you have someone like this in your life then this person is not to  keep and please excuse yourself and leave .

Always remember ” Less is a form of maturity  and do not be afraid  to be alone than being around friends that make you sad”.

THE FEELING OF DOING MORE IN A DAY

Now we all have that  feeling at  the end of the  day,  thinking to our selves how did the day go by without getting anything done at all. This for me has a been a thought for years and then I said enough is enough I need to change something,  That feeling is really a sad one and it gets us beating our minds on what more could you have done to make your day more productive  and get a lot done.

Not to bore you  with a a lot of reading, these are some of the tips that I can give you to make your day more enjoyable and fulfilling. I have just recently started a routine and I have changed a lot of things about myself , my habits, my approach to things and the way I  persive  MY LIFE. And this is going well so far.

But before I get into this I am going to say that always remember 20% of our input impacts the 80% of the results, so by saying this if you really want to get good results you have to put in a lot of work and determination.

  1. GET MOTIVATED

Okay if you want to get things done the first thing you have to do is find your sense of motivation, because to be honest with  you, you  cannot get things done if you are not motivated. To get motivated you have to try and find the right  environment and  the right people to get you motivated, cut out the places, people things that keep you down rather than uplift you. so to get things done you have to first of all be motivated and then all will flow. So motivation is key of all the others you are going to read.

ORGANISE YOUR NEXT DAY

Well how many times have you heard this I bet a couple of million times, but how many times have you actually made an organisation plan. Okay let me help you on  this,  first of all you have to get a note book or set an alarm on your phone, make a planner using a calendar for things you have to do the next day. If you are going out the next day in the morning, iron the cloths set the most important things to do in an open place like your makeup table or kitchen table with all the details of things you have to do the next day. This will help you to get things done  in a well organised way ,  and the sense of filling that everything is all ready and set, gives you a start of the day with a pastime impact.

GET INTO A HABIT OF READING

HMM in this Century reading is not something that anyone would like to do at all, we have all drifted into a habit of watching or listening to stuff that are really taking up much of our time. But apparently reading  books can open your mind to a lot of things and keeps you engaged and productive,

CUT OUT ALL THE BAD HABITS OF THINGS THAT DO NOT ADD VALUE

Saying no, within yourself to cut out all the bad habits that are not really creating a positive  impact in your life but rather a negative one, can really make you unproductive. For example watching Netflix all day is my bad habit that always wastes my time ,and does not let me do anything at all which is pretty annoying. So I would advice you to try and cut out small habits it could be staying in bed till late in the afternoon or staying own social media all day. Once you find a way to cut out these habits your day will be more productive,

FIND YOUR ME TIME

Me time is your comfort time with just you in that zone. Do things that will get you into that me time, it could be listening to your favourite music or  as simple as lighting a candle, Just that time that makes you feel alive again, this could get you doing a lot of things. As for me when I  listen to dance hall tunes I twerk as I clean and by the time I notice things that to be done in the house are all done. This me time is so important to get your shit together.

After reading this just put in mind 20% of your impact will determine 80% of your out come.
