SIDE EFFECTS OF DRINKING TOO MUCH CUPS OF TE

Hello my lovely readers those who are new and the old ones welcome to another read of the day.

I would like to ask how everyone is doing  and how the soon to be holiday season is getting on with you . Have you done your christmas shopping yet or you are just like me a last-minute shopper.

So anyway i hope you are all well and for those in areas experiencing the storm  I am so sorry and my prayers go out to you. For todays topic we are going to be talking about the side effects of drinking a lot of cups of tea a day.

If you live in England you know a cup of tea is tradition like Tea parties , Lunch tea parties , you cannot live in England and not be a heavy tea drinker. So shout out to my English Tea drinkers lets keep the queen happy by passing on this tradition hahah

The reason as to why I am writing about this topic is because I experience a lot of thirst each time i try drink tea, I  end up feeling the need to drink a lot of water. This disturbs me a lot and so i went on a hunt to find out why i feel this way and maybe share this with you all.. One things you should put at the back of your mind is that Tea is dehydrating when consumed a lot hence my thirst issues .

First and fore most if you live in a cold place drinking tea is one of the things that is non costly  to keeping warm avoiding these winter blues. However, when you drink too much of it apparently, it can  have a lot of disturbing effects.

To make it clearly this topic is solely based on  White tea in general which is milk and black tea. But  please note even herbal teas have some of these effects. (I do not  drink milk therefore I am a herbal tea “expert” if i may claim). And i would highly recommend any one to try green tea its the best. this is my best green tea Clipper Organic Green Tea – 50 Bags. The taste the tea and the price its worth it try it.

I will start with the positive ones and then move on to the negative ones.

POSITIVE EFFECTS

HEALTH BENEFITS

1.It is allegedly believed that drinking at least two to three cups of black tea or green can help reduce the chances of developing type 2 diabetes by up to 25 percent.

2. It is said that the antioxidants and magnesium compounds found in tea can  help keep weight down.

3. Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke and this is the health benefit which has the strongest evidence.

Tea may boost the immune system . It is believed that tea can tune up immune system cells so they reach their targets quicker.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS

1.   When it comes to negative effects trust me their are a lot of them , the list is endless which makes me wonder what the hell we consume in this world if just simple water and a tea bag is  not beneficial.

2. Stained teeth is another side effect that can you may experience this cannot go unnoticed. I tend to drink most of my stuff using a straw due to the fact that i do not  want to stain my teeth.

3. Liver injury  combined with excessive alcohol consumption.Your liver can seriously get damaged if you mix the two together often

4. Insomnia due to the high levels of caffeine. This will leave you feeling tired and having sleepless nights. Try decaffeinated tea.

5. Increased dehydration. this is something i personally experience for sure as i have shared above.

There are a lot of side effects believe me but these are just a few. I wanted to point out.

Please note that drinking at least 5 cups is okay but going beyond that is a so risky. Try drinking warm water.

HOW TO BE A #GIRL BOSS

Yes my lovely readers , friends and new visitors. As you  may have  noticed i just changed my blog a bit and i hope you like it too. So today I am going to talk about a topic that I  have seen everywhere on social media on various blogs and You Tube.

Before I get into the blog I  would like to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New  Year to each one of you and I hope your festive season is going well. Most bloggers have started their blogmas editions which for sure I  have not because of my busy tight schedule which I am trying to manage as  much as I can at the moment. But I am going to make sure i try to upload at least 3 to 4 blogs a week , not promising anything but will try.

So lets start;

WHO  IS A GIRL BOSS?

To me a girl boss is someone who empowers other women and sets to achieve what she desires to have, an ambitious and self driven woman.

So I guess you are asking yourself how can I be a girl boss, how can i join this group of women. Well I have got some answers for you that might help.

  1. WAKE UP AND YEILD POSITIVITY

When we wake up in the morning we all have a lot of things running in our minds and how to start the day. However, you need to shut that down and bring the positive vibes. This can be done by self feeding your mind with positivity, you can say things like today is going to be a good day., or I am beautiful , I am free, I am grateful. All these things may seem like just words but trust me they make a great difference to your mind when you say them. Now i know what might going on in your mind you are saying to yourself how is all this connected to being a #Girl boss. Well all i can say is that a girl boss must have a positive mind set, if you really want to be successful. So make it a point to make sure the words you say out of your mouth are only positive hencepositive outcome.

2. FAILURE

I f you want to be girl boss the word failure is not an option when things do not go the way you want, take it as a learning curve and understand what your obstacle was or is and work to make it better. Never look at yourself as a failure but an achiever.

3. SUCCESSFUL ENVIRONMENT

To  achieve anything in life you  have to place yourself in a successful environment, an environment that inspires you to do more and achieve more. this is  something that all girl bosses do . So I must say be in the right place to have the right  working mind set.

4.SET YOUR DREAMS

Well we all know what our dreams in life are, and many people around us believe that dreams are things that we cannot achieve in life which for sure is not right. if you work towards your dreams you might be able  to make them reality.However. do not confuse your dreams with your goals.

5. SET YOUR GOALS

Now that we are getting into a new year we know have to set our goals with things that we want to accomplish within the year. A girl boss will have her goals all set out and  ready to be tackled.If you want to be a girl boss you should for sure have your goals set, by writing a plan or talking about them with friends and family which will be a constant reminder each time they ask you about that goal that you shared with them.

6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE

This is something i talk about a lot , and always tend to tell everyone it does not matter how many friends you have, but what matter is the quality of friends that you surround your self with.. You will never yield positive with a negative environment. Girl bosses will always make sure to surround themselves with uplifting people not draining people.

WHY MY DAY SUCKS

We all have horrible days when things are not going well as expected and we tend to capitalise on that one wrong thing to determine our day ahead. Well I am here to tell you that horrible days are decisions and egos that drive us to act in such a way or vice versa.

Down below I am going to list down, how you can get over this horrible day issue.

REFLECTION

First of all reflect on what exactly made you get mad or changed that mood of yours and then ask yourself if it worth ruining your day. By doing this you will for sure feel better.

MEDITATION

Clearing our minds is something that is hard to do, but if we get into the habit we can for sure do it. Try to meditate for at least 10 minutes to calm your  mind and put your restlessness at ease.

DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE THE MOST

For me it would be listening to music to sort of detract me from that horrible thought. It could be reading a book or dancing do what ever makes you smile.

HAVE A RELAXING BATH

Try to take a bath put some candles on and relax play some relaxing music you can find this on you tube and zone out.

Okay those are the ways i think you can get over horrible , horrible days cannot be avoided but we can try to make sure they don’t ruin us . I am now getting into a habit of writing short clear blogs please let me know if you think this is a good idea.

HOW TO HAVE A SMASHING WEEKEND !!!! PLANNING YOUR WEEKEND

MAKE YOUR WEEKEND WORTH THE HYPE

So let me start by saying I am one of the people that really does not gets weekend’s off, because I work on a shift basis and weekends I am required to work as well. But when I get a weekend off I do for sure make sure I try to plan it, thats if  I do not get a bad cold or my monthly woman issue.

So today is Friday you are hoping to have a good weekend but you are unsure what exactly to do, well  I am going to tell you  how you can have a fabulous weekend.

Even though you are going to work you can make your working weekend a fun one .

So lets begin.

  1. WEEKEND LIST

Okay yeah I am talking about a list again , but this is the most important bit to plan your weekend.  List the things that  you really want to accomplish over your weekend. The things that you will not want to go over to the next week for example for me I would like to

a) Make any pending important phone calls

b) Organise all my work for my university

c) Make sure I am up to date with all my course work

d) Meet up friends that are free this time, I am going out to Brighton with a couple of friends.

And so much more things like this, I would not like them to  move over to the next week so make a list of the things you have to do .

2. Have a relaxing period

As you plan your weekend make sure you include 30 minutes in your schedule have a relaxing bath a detox session. This is going to help you wash off all the bad energy within you , that you have had through the whole week . This will help you feel fresh for the next week.

3. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Make sure you finish off the pending work that you have to do within the week, if you still have stuff unfinished , you must finish them by the end of the weekend.

4. EXERCISE

Do not forget to exercise one thing that will make your weekend a good one is working out do something, run , mediate, yoga and anything that makes your body move a bit. Me I am going trying so hard to make sure I work out everyday. I do try to share my work out stories on my Instagram which is LUCY A you can go check it out so you can see how I tend to work out.

5. RELAX DONOT OVER PLAN

Make it a point to relax as much as you can  and and live it to the fullest. Do not over schedule your weekend and be free.

Today is a Friday and tomorrow the weekend will start  so please try to enjoy it go out with friends have fun and  care less.

I just remembered I have now made a schedule and I upload every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

HOW TO: FEEL GOOD EVERY MORNING

FEEL GOOD EACH TIME YOU WAKR UP

HELLO my lovelies, One of the feelings I hate the most is waking up early in the morning and feeling like i did not rest  at all, in simple terms feeling like shit.  Their could be a number of reasons some of which may be medical while the others may just be associated with just simply our own habits . I have some of the things  I do that make me feel better each time I wake up. Well lets be honest some days I still wake up feeling down, but I  make it feel better by doing some exercise. Okay lets get down to the most important part. Some of these are similar to my previous post about, 6 Healthy habits if you are not following them then please try these .

I am making a challenge which is try one or two of these ideas, the challenge will be called TheLULUMORNINGCHALLENGE.

  1. READING

Yes you are all tired of me taking about reading but imagine, if you got into a habit of reading before bed you will  feel so much better in the morning when you wake up swap this for your social media and tell me how you  will feel the next morning.

2. PLAN YOUR MORNING

I have mentioned a couple of times on my blog, if you have not read it check  it out on my blog post on HOW TO START BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. The best part of your morning is the feeling of knowing what you are going to do the next day. Write down your plan for the next day in your dairy, the night before and plan out what you have to do. This will make your morning better ones.

3. WAKE UP EARLY EVERYDAY THE SAME TIME

Set your Alarm to wake you up each day at the same time. This will keep your mind and body on a daily  routine. Waking up the same time each day will help you sleep better at night  and a strong wakefulness. I personally set my alarm to wake up at 9:30 each day. Well the truth is that I have been trying and so far so good I will keep you updated if this is really helpful. But for sure I cannot complain.

4.DO SOME EXERCISE WHEN YOU WAKE UP

Early in the morning when you wake up , you have to try and do some exercise, at least make it a point to workout 4 times in a week. I love to do squats and front lunges they help me a lot , in times when I cannot do a full work out. But once I do some body movements it always makes me feel better for sure.

5. GET INTO A HABIT OF SAYING POSITIVE THINGS

When I  wake up in the morning I love to say positive things to myself and get into a positive feeling or sometimes I love to play slow music in the morning once I am up and running. So I would highly recommend you to try this.

6. DO NOT SLEEP ANGRY

When you are going to bed make sure you are not angry at anything , sleep in peace with a clear mind. Try to over come what ever you are feeling that is stressing you out and leave it behind before you go to sleep. This will give you a good night sleep and a good morning wake up.

so get yourself a good night sleep
